ユース育成 From childhood I thought the definition of watchmaking is making the watch, not finishing or assembling. So my goal was to learn how to make all the parts, not to just finish them, and to know that I had truly created something.The wooden dials produced later in the '70s for five serial number Day-Dates (with sapphire crystal) were made using three different types of wood: birchwood, mahogany, and walnut. They had a layer of lacquer applied on them with the print placed on, which in turn made the text significantly link more legible. This series housed Caliber 3055 which featured a quickset function.Across both references, there are four known dial types categorized as Mark 1, Mark 1.5, Mark 1.75, and Mark 2. This odd nomenclature happens a lot with vintage Rolex, I would imagine at some point there were only two dial variants, and then someone found a slight difference creating Mark 1.5 in the middle. By the same process, the Mark 1.75 was "discovered" later down the collecting line.</br>
Two years ago, Grand Seiko link introduced the widely praised Kodo Constant-Force Tourbillon SLGT003. Then, during Watches and Wonders this year, the brand released the follow-up SLGT005. This new Kodo Constant-Force Tourbillon "Daybreak" brings a lighter overall aesthetic that looks spectacular and highlights the technical wizardry even better than the first model.However, I think the Amida is a bit too much of a gadget, especially with the big name and orange details on the dial.That's fortunate as I do not have a black rubber strap to show you on this watch, but trust me.</br>

This new watch comes equipped with a rubber strap instead of one made from ceramic (though I have to imagine a ceramic bracelet for this one is in the works). The dial here instead has a horizontally brushed finish and a smoked effect in three colors: blue, cognac, and green with the signature Rado anchor at 12 o'clock (something the original did not have).</br>
